"Edit shortcode" arguments

Our so-called arguments are values that you can use to customize your request. They allow you to send specific data to the Edit shortcode action which is then handled accordingly to the described purpose. You can use the arguments that you would like to send values for.

shortcode_id *

(Integer) "The shorcode id to edit.

shortcode_author

(Mixed) "The shorcode author argument accepts either the user ID, or the email address of an existing user. In case you choose the email adress, we try to match it with the users on your WordPress site. In case we couldn't find a user for the given email, we leave the field empty.

name

(String) The shortcode name you would like to insert. Example [sc name="second"][/sc].

editor

(String) Switch the content editor.

content

(String) The content of the shortcode. You can use different dynamic parameters like date, custom fields, WordPress information.

tags

(String) Tags to add. You can seperate tags with commas.

display_name

(String) The name you want to display while it's listed.

description

(String) Set the description for identification.

disable_shortcode

(String) Select this to disable the shortcode from executing in all places where it used.

disable_shortcode_administrators

(String) Select to disable the shortcode from executing for administrators.

execute_devices

(String) Select the devices where the shortcode should be executed. Note: If any caching plugin is used, a separate caching for desktop and mobile might be required.

wpwh_call_action

(String) Register a custom WordPress hook callback. The value will be called as followed: do_action( $yourdefinedaction, $action_return_data, $request_data )
